Lisa Marie Oefinger, PhD, NCSP

Dr. Oefinger (she/her) is a licensed psychologist in San Francisco.  She completed her doctoral studies in school psychology at Teachers College Columbia University and internship/postdoctoral training at WestCoast Children's Clinic in Oakland.  She specializes in child and adolescent collaborative psychological assessment, including testing for learning differences, attention differences, and social-emotional traits impacting development, family dynamics, performance, and/or relational patterns.  With this model, assessment is held as a short-term, therapeutic intervention that allows for developing deeper understanding and identifying targeted next steps. 

In addition to her private practice work, Dr. Oefinger is director of counseling services and psychology training at Edgewood. There, she manages a team of psychologists, supports training and programming for clinical psychological doctoral students, and provides clinical and assessment supervision.   Dr. Oefinger is a parent, animal lover, fitness enthusiast, and coffee drinker.
